Portofino Palace

Portofino Palace sits in a stunning, prime position, just above Portofino’s famous coastline. This exquisite property is considered an Italian national monument.  Constructed in 1361 it was once a Monastery dedicated to San Girolamo.

Lovely outdoor areas wrap around the estate with breath-taking Mediterranean vegetation.  There is a beautiful landscaped grand English garden with a unique view of the surrounding sea. The Wisteria alfresco path is an absolute delight with its romantic archways of cascading flowers and the Orchard and other green spaces offer substantial outdoor space.

Inside there is a large living room, several dining areas, an alfresco sea view dining terrace, a well-equipped kitchen, and a professional one for the staff.

All eleven bedrooms are elegantly decorated with white walls and contemporary fabrics in regimental style with ensuite and coffee machines.

The interior design is elegant and regal and features elements of classic Italian architecture combined with modern touches. Traditional materials, including slate, marble, oak, and locally sourced stone, together with marble in bathrooms. have been used throughout.

Portofino Palace is perched on a cliff, conveniently located close to the road connecting the estate to Portofino and the region of Liguria.
